Who are The Viking Girls?

We are a group of women of all ages.

What do we do?

Sometimes we do charity work, other times we go to see exhibitions, movies or go bowling.

In December, we collected items for the “Purses of Hope Campaign” and also made Christmas table centrepieces to sell at our "Julestue."

We watched a movie in January.  

In February, we collected hats & toques, scarves & neck warmers, mittens & gloves, and warm socks to go to an elementary school in a low-income neighbourhood in Calgary.

Our schedule for this Spring looks like this:

On March 3, we will go bowling. We will assemble gift baskets in April for the silent auction at the Dinner & Auction, a fundraising event for our church.

When and where do we meet?

We meet the 1. Friday of the month from September to May in the downstairs hall of the church  ( if we are not out having fun!).

All ladies are invited to come to our meetings.
